Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

If you manage a server, you are responsible for making your members aware of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy. Adding Nyx to a server you administer counts as accepting both on that server's behalf.

2. What the service is

Nyx provides server management — a moderation ledger, automated message filters, entry verification, welcome flows and temporary voice rooms — alongside engagement features such as XP, levels and an economy, gaming features including account linking and match recaps, scheduled feeds for patch notes, free games, streams and weather, AI-generated conversation, and music playback. Features vary by tier: free, premium, and home.

Features change. We add and retire them as the product develops, and nothing here is a promise that a specific feature will keep existing.

3. Premium

Premium is sold as a Discord App Subscription. It is billed and refunded by Discord under Discord's payment terms, and we never see your payment details. Premium unlocks per-server features for as long as the subscription is active. If it lapses, the server returns to the free tier and no data is deleted.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use Nyx to harass, spam, or evade Discord's own moderation.
• Do not prompt the AI toward harmful, illegal, or sexual content involving minors.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service, or to extract data about servers you are not in.
• Server staff wield the moderation features at their own responsibility.

We may remove Nyx from servers that abuse the service, and may restrict access for individuals who do the same.

5. AI content

AI-generated responses are entertainment, written by a language model in character as a fictional goddess. They are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice, and they can be wrong. Treat them accordingly.

6. Availability and liability

Nyx is provided “as is”, without warranty. We aim for high availability, but the service may be interrupted by hosting problems, Discord outages, or changes to the third-party services she depends on. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months — which, since Discord handles all payments, is typically zero.

7. Ending it

You can remove Nyx from your server at any time; the Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data. We may discontinue the service, or change these Terms, with 14 days' notice in the support server.
